Adventure to Pacifica
This weekend Jeremy and I took a much needed break from technology and went for a hike. I usually just look at google maps, find a large area of “green” and say let’s try that. This time it was Muscle Rock in Pacifica. We got there and quickly realized there were two trail options. One split off to the beach and the other up to the cliffs. We chose the beach first but quickly regretted it when zero started eating jelly fish. So we climbed back up and explored the cliff trails. It was short lived. All the trails terminated pretty quickly. This park is mostly used for parasailing.
The trails lead up to different jumping points for parasailers. So we got back in the car and looked on the map again. Jeremy found Mori point and we decided to give it a try. This park was more our style. The trail lead to the point where we stopped and fed zero. It was so good to feel that coastal wind blowing on my face. We continued on up a steep hill and the. Back down the other side which was even steeper. I’ll be honest, I was kind of proud of myself. I’m not a huge fan of steep climbs, but I did it.
Zero had a blast and we came home tired, but refreshed.
I hope you had a fabulous weekend outside full of sun. In the next few weeks I’m going to be busy transitioning from one job to the next (more on that soon) as well as taking a 4 day weekend to visit family in Southern California.
It’s been over a year since I’ve been down there and this time, Jeremy is coming with.
I also wanted to mention that the blog has steadily gained almost 60 subscribers since we re-launched and I’m so thrilled. It’s slow progress, but its progress.
I appreciate all of you who continue to open the emails and click through to read.
Once I get settled back from my vacation, I plan on getting serious and writing some long-overdue educational posts.
Until then, stay driven!
